Kush was gone for another weekend in Windsor with Nevy, and I was once again left alone with my thoughts. I love Kush to death, and time and time again I had proven that I would do anything for him. But now he was just taking advantage of the situation.

The baby is innocent, this I know, but the baby shouldn’t even be here in the first place. I just married the love of my life and had to find out that not only is the bitch pregnant with his child; but that she was dying of cancer and the baby was supposed to come and live with us; like one big happy family.

I was not feeling that at all. I couldn’t do this shit anymore, period. How many cheeks would I have to turn to Kush and his bullshit if I just accepted his shit? It’s not like Kush was a habitual cheater or anything, but it wasn’t just the fact that he cheated that was getting to me.

It was the cheating, the baby being proof of his cheating and a constant reminder of his infidelity, and now the baby was coming to live with us? Hell no! I just couldn’t do it, and what woman in their right mind would accept that after all that I had been through with Alex? This was supposed to be a happy time for me, I was still in my first year of marriage and already I was ready for a fucking divorce.

Tears started to roll down my face as I sat on the bed watching Nas asleep on his receiving blanket. I had never thought in a million years that I would ever be without Kush who was basically the only family that I had, but I just knew I couldn’t do it anymore. Not in this situation. I sat there crying for over an hour.

I had nobody to call for any comforting words to get me through this difficult time or to even bounce my ideas off of, nobody to vent to; or maybe I just didn’t want anyone in our business or anyone trying to convince me to stay. After an hour, I couldn’t take it anymore.

I went to the guestroom and pulled out the carry-on suitcase as well as the second biggest one. I dragged them both back into my bedroom and began packing. I packed a bunch of comfortable clothes, sweats, wife beaters, under garments, a scarf for my head, and my toiletries.

I went into Nas’ room and packed sleepers, blankets, diapers, wash cloths, and socks. For the moment, I would be going to a hotel to clear my mind. From there, I would decide what my next move would be, where I would go and everything else that was going to come along with the transition.

It took me another forty minutes to get my shit together and get Nas ready and into his car seat. I made sure to set the alarm before hopping into the whip and taking off.
